Comcast Newsmakers features important information from local newsmakers who appear at 54: past the hour during CNN Headline News. Different versions of Comcast Newsmakers are produced with local hosts in Puget Sound and Spokane. The four and-a-half minute segments air in a rotation. 

Guests discuss a public affairs topic of general interest. In most cases, guests are elected officials or representatives of government agencies who can share important information.
